"There were in her at the moment two beings, one drawing deep breaths of freedom and exhilaration, the other gasping for air in a little black prison-house of fears. But gradually the captive's gasps grew fainter, or the other paid less heed to them; the horizon expanded, the air grew stronger, and the free spirit quivered for flight." Edith Wharton

and a BIG congratulations to you!!!!!!!! well done!!!!!
Hi Kathy, congrats on 8 months, hey I agree with you about the program of AA, it shouldnt be a constant battle to stay sober it should become natural and a well practised way that can happen is by going to AA meetings and practising those steps on a daily basis.
I dont go to enough meetings I will be going to two soon, I might ask veras tonight which other meetings she goes to..
Yes I like my sponsor he aint a tibetan monk sort of long timer, he is very much down to earth and gives me lots of good advise, like meetings i dont see him as much has i should.
Hope you have a good day Kathy

Hi Kathy,
Had a great night last night at AA, I ended up sharing, pouring my soul out and really do feel spiritually rejuvinated today as a result.
It seems the silent prayer I said at the beggining of the share to my god was answered.
How I love AA
